About NeuroBehavioral Medicine Group

Neurobehavioral Medicine Group consists of a dedicated staff of professionals who treat children, adolescents and adults with a full range of psychiatric needs. Our office consists of one psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist, therapists and a clinical research team.

Our office offers in-person and virtual sessions for psychiatric and psychological services. Our team provides individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, psychological testing, psychiatric evaluations, and medication monitoring in addition to ongoing clinical research trials.

Our Staff

Richard Jackson, M.D.

Dr. Jackson is the founder and owner of Neurobehavioral Medicine Group, an outpatient psychiatric treatment center in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Dr. Jackson has dedicated his medical career to caring for adults, adolescents, children and families.  He also treats high risk groups including those who are incarcerated and has gained recognition through his various presentations. He is also extremely dedicated to various research projects focused on the latest research and potential treatment options for a variety of disease states including schizophrenia, bipolar and major depressive disorders. He also serves as a Senior Psychiatrist at the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility in Ypsilanti Michigan. Dr. Jackson attended undergraduate school at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, where he graduated with high honors while majoring in Physiology. Dr. Jackson obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his general psychiatric residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Michigan, School of Medicine. He is board certified by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult, Adolescent and Child Psychiatry, with added qualifications in Forensic Psychiatry. He is an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of psychiatry at Wayne State University and at Oakland University William Beaumont Schools of Medicine. He is an Assistant Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University Of Michigan, School of Medicine in the Department Of Psychiatry. He is the director of the Forensic Psychiatry rotation for the Henry Ford Hospital, Psychiatric Residency Program. 

Dr. Jackson has published several articles, and has presented at international conferences including the US Psychiatric Congress and the American Psychiatric Association’s annual meetings.

Nicole Jackson, PsyD LP

Dr. Jackson is a fully licensed clinical psychologist and is the co-owner of Neurobehavioral Medicine Group. She has dedicated her career to caring for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Dr. Jackson provides individual psychotherapy, family therapy, parenting work, and psychological evaluations. Dr. Jackson specializes in cognitive behavioral interventions, parent child interaction therapy (PCIT), and play therapy, but offers flexible, individualized treatment approaches to meet patient needs. Dr. Jackson offers psychological evaluations to provide diagnostic clarity and aid in treatment planning. Areas of assessment include cognitive, academic, and social/emotional concerns. Evaluations can be helpful to rule out attention disorders, such as ADHD and learning concerns, such as specific learning disorders in math, writing, or reading. 

Christine Wilson de Medina, MS, LLP

Christine Wilson de Medina earned her Bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, with honors, and her Master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University with honors. She has been a limited licensed Psychologist for over 30 years helping people improve the quality of their lives. This has been done with a strong focus on effective skills to improve personal happiness. She has done this work in a wide variety of settings; including inpatient, residential, outpatient and a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist unit. These experiences have provided her with the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and treatment modalities. 

Lauren Ulrich, BS

Lauren Ulrich has a Bachelors Degree form Michigan State University in Genomics with a double major in Neuroscience. She is the Lead Clinical Research Coordinator for our Clinical Trials Division. She is a certified Phlebotomist and works with Dr. Richard Jackson on all ongoing research studies.

Vincent Acciaioli, LMSW - In Loving Memory

Vincent J. Acciaioli is a Licensed Masters Social Worker with board certification from the Academy of
Certified Social Workers and a Masters of Social Work Degree from the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
