Donna Beauvais, LMSW

Donna Beauvais is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker with over 20 years experience in behavioral health.  Ms Beauvais received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wayne State University and her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Her clinical experience includes providing treatment to children, adolescents and adults through individual, family, couples and group therapies.  She has practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient and partial psychiatric hospitalization, outpatient settings and residential treatment programs.

Ms. Beauvais’ areas of practice include; Depression and Anxiety, Bipolar illness, ADHD, Anger Management, Adjustment Issues, Parenting Skills, Parent-Child Relationship Issues and Problems/Adjustments in Adolescence.  Her treatment orientation includes a family systems perspective combined with cognitive-behavioral treatment and skills training to assist the individual in refining skills needed to change behavioral, emotional, and thinking patterns associated with problems in living that are causing misery and distress. Ms. Beauvais works collaboratively with her clients utilizing a strengths perspective approach, emphasizing the client’s self-identified needs and treating the “whole person” including the consideration of physical, emotional and spiritual perspectives.
